White crayon on white paper,
Seems pointless doesn’t it;
Little more than a place holder.
But open up a new box of 24
Crayola crayons to find that tip broken
And the whole box feels used.
White crayon on white paper,
Seems pointless doesn’t it;
Little more than a place holder.
But open up a new box of 24
Crayola crayons to find that tip broken
And the whole box feels used.
So many possible meanings with this one…I loved its purity and suggestiveness.

As a tv villain once said “metaphor, she is so infinitely pliable.” Thank you for reading this poem. I am glad you enjoyed it.
